How Resilient Filipinos Are

The weather in the Philippines is constantly changing and this is because of climate change. Climate change happens when the Earth gets warmer because of things like pollution and deforestation. In the Philippines, we see this change in stronger storms, floods, and higher temperatures.

The main cause of climate change is the burning of fossil fuels, like coal, oil, and gas. When we use these, they release gases into the air that trap heat from the sun, making the Earth hotter. This affects our weather, causing disasters like typhoons and floods.

Even though we face these challenges, Filipinos are known for being strong and able to come up with solutions. People work together to rebuild after disasters. They plant trees to help stop floods, build homes that can resist storms, and always help each other in tough times.

We can also do our part to help stop climate change. By using less plastic, recycling, and saving en
ergy, we can reduce pollution and protect the environment.

Filipinos are tough and resilient, and together, we can face climate change and make our country a better place to live for everyone.
