Stop Violence Against Women

 Violence against women (VAW) is a big problem. Many women suffer from emotional, physical, or sexual abuse. To help protect women, the Philippine government made two important laws: the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children (VAWC) Act of 2004 (RA 9262) and the Safe Spaces Act (RA 11313).

The VAWC Act protects women and their children from different kinds of abuse, like hurting them physically, emotionally, or mentally. It helps women get protection, like going to a safe shelter, getting legal help, and making sure abusers are punished.

The Safe Spaces Act, made in 2019, stops sexual harassment in places like streets, schools, workplaces, and online. It says things like catcalling, stalking, and rude gestures are not allowed. This law helps people report harassment and makes places safer for everyone.

These laws are very important for keeping women safe and teaching people to respect each other. But we all need to work together to make sure these laws are followed and us women are protected.

Words Describes Me Most

               I’ve been thinking for a while on how do I describe myself. First of all I do not know the right words or terms to describe myself, but there are some words I have in mind to describe myself. I describe myself as a strong, ambitious, and a positive person.
