My Journey this 3rd Quarter
This quarter, I learned a lot about different topics that has been discussed, especially community-based research (CBR). I discovered how important it is to work with people from a community to understand their needs and find solutions. Conducting CBR helped me see how research can directly benefit communities by involving them in the process. I also learned about the different types of lists in HTML, like the ordered list (ol), unordered list (ul), and nested lists. I now understand how to use description tags like "dd" (definition description), "dt" (definition term), "dl" description list, and how they help organize information clearly.
One of the challenges I faced was understanding how to use all the HTML tags correctly. At first, I was confused about where to place the "ol," "ul," and how to properly structure lists. But, as for the "dd", "dt"and "dl" tags, I quickly learned what they are meant for and I did pretty well on the activity. I also found community-based research a bit tricky because it involves working with others(which I'm not really good at especially because I think it's more complicated), and planning for the CBR, which can sometimes be challenging. To address these challenges, I took extra time to review my lessons and practice using the HTML tags. I also looked up examples online and tried building my own lists and description sections to see how they worked. For CBR, I worked closely with my classmates and asked for feedback from my teacher to better understand how to gather and analyze data. Moving forward, I will continue practicing HTML and try to use the tags in different projects to get more comfortable. I will also apply the skills I learned in CBR to future research projects, making sure to involve the community and gather valuable insights. I'm looking forward for the last quarter.
